# Date format doesn’t match WordPress

 * When trying to build a custom loop with Ele Custom Skin, I am having a problem
   with the date format that does not match the selection made in the WordPress 
   settings. I’ve added two sections to the site to help illustrate my point. The
   top section is the custom skin created with Ele Custom Skin and the Publish Date
   is formatted as 2021-12-24, however in the next section below you can see the
   date formatted as December 24, 2021.
 * How can I adjust the date format so that it is F j, Y?
