# Date formatting doesn't work?

 * Hi,
 * Quick question regarding date formatting – when using date format strings from
   [http://docs.jquery.com/UI/Datepicker/formatDate](http://docs.jquery.com/UI/Datepicker/formatDate)
   I don’t seem to be able to use some configurations.
 * This seems to work fine:
 * dateFormat = yy/dd/mm
 * However if I change this to ‘DD/mm/yy’, when I select a date the field gets populated
   with something like ‘DD/08/11’ – the ‘DD’ is not correctly mapped out to the 
   proper format.
 * I suspect this might just be due to an old Datepicker library or something. Just
   wondering if anyone has a workaround?

   Template plugin!
