# Date picker wrong dates when changing date format

 * Hi,
    When you add a datepicker with “limits” and change “date format” for example
   to dd/mm/yy , the limits are wrongly interpreted. wrong dates are proposed. Could
   you please have a look at this problem ? Thanks, have a good day.

 * Sorry to hear you are having this problem.
 * We have a reported problem for those date formats:
 *     ```
       d.m.Y
       d-m-Y
       d/m/Y
       ```
   
 * Could you please try to use other date formats for example dd.mm.yy and check
   if the issue is gone?
 * Our developers are already working on a fix which is planned to the 1.15 version.

 * I just want to confirm that fix for this issue is planned for the 1.5 Forminators
   version.
 * But since we haven’t heard from you for several days now looks like the workaround
   proposed helped with the issue.
