# Date validation not working

 * Hi Matt.
    I have VFBPro running on a site and my client has noted that even though
   date validation is switched on – users can enter dates in either mm/dd/yy OR 
   dd/mm/yy order even though only the former is specified in the validation field.
   Can I fix this – or is it something that you need to add to the bug fix list?

 * Both of those are dates are valid formats. Only the format has to be correct 
   since there are no sanity checks.
