# DB SQL Error after upgrade

 * So after updating wp and the plugin and got an error i have read the !!!IMPORTANT!!!
   part in the plugin description :).
 * I got this error:
 * > WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the 
   > manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to
   > use near ‘WHERE post_name = ‘job-board’ AND post_type = ‘post” at line 1]
   >  
   > SELECT ID wp_posts WHERE post_name = ‘job-board’ AND post_type = ‘post
 * Is there anything that I could do to solve this not hacking in to the plugin.

 * Hi alexut,
 * Sorry that you ran into issues here during upgrade. That particular error isn’t
   coming from AWPCP at all. We don’t use the wp_posts table in any way (we aren’t
   a custom post type…yet), so it looks like the error is actually from a job-board
   plugin you have installed.
 * I would suggest contacting them with what you see above and see if they have 
   any insight. I don’t know why it was triggered during the AWPCP upgrade, but 
   we definitely wouldn’t be throwing that error under any circumstances.
