# Deactivate & Remove Google Maps Link

 * Hello, first of all thank you for this useful plugin. I really like the functionality!
 * Is there a way to completely disable and remove the link to google maps within
   the eventlocation? Until now, I worked around this by simply not linking to the
   eventlocation, i.e. not showing the link. But if somebody opens the eventpage
   via the avent-url the maps link is shown.
 * Due to GDPR regulations in Germany it is crucial to get rid of google links.

 * You should be able to uncheck the option ‘Link to Google Map’ in each view at
   [My Calendar > Settings > Display](https://docs.joedolson.com/my-calendar/category/settings/output/).

 * This works for the event pages but not for the location pages. My workaround 
   is to not link to the location pages but somebody can still navigate there manually.
   Is there a way to disable the “map” link on the location pages?

   Sunday, most likely.)

 * It works! Now you can select none under Mapping services (Settings -> Display
   options).
