Debugging Email Users Problems

There have been a number of similar support threads recently about Email Users not sending email as expected. This sort of question comes up periodically. I have finally documented my suggestions for resolving this sort of problem.
Additionally, I have added a couple of new features, a Dashboard Widget and an updated Settings Page, to Email Users to help users understand when their User Settings aren’t set correctly to allow users to receive email. These features are available in the 4.5.3 released and are described on my web site here and here.
If anyone has any additional suggestions for resolving problems with Email Users feel free to post them and I will incorporate them into my write up.
