Deceiving about ads
-
I installed this plugin manually with a shortcode on 87 pages just to find out that it has ads build into it.
It says absolutely nothing about ads in the description and the ads weren’t displaying in Chrome when I initially tested it (my bad for not checking out the module in IE and FF).
Then when the site came online, my client discovered that it displays ads when printing.
And what’s worse is that it costs a monthly subscription to remove ads?
What exactly am I paying for? Just the removal of ads? Because when I created a thread about a problem I had, no one from their team responded and I initially had to work around it and create a whole new CSS from scratch.
Now I have to find a new print module and cuztomise that. All because the developers didn’t mention anything about ads.
I don’t mind paying developers for their work. But paying a subscription for something I initally customized myself without any respond from the team? Thats just not going to happen!
Deceiving plugin. Stay away if you wish an ad-free plugin or a one-time-fee solution.
