# Deep Linking

 * Hello, how are you? First of all congratulations on the plugin, it is working
   very well.
 * One question: Is it possible to add “deep linking” to the URL when opening the
   popup?
 * For example: Suppose you are at [http://www.website.com](http://www.website.com)
   and click on a link to open the popup, then it would add deep linking like this
   [http://www.website.com/#popupnameounumber](http://www.website.com/#popupnameounumber)

 * Please be advised that popups don’t have URLs. That is why you can’t “link” to
   a popup as they are not a public content type that gets a URL.
    ​ ​That said,
   you can get close with our [Advanced Targeting Conditions](https://wppopupmaker.com/extensions/advanced-targeting-conditions/).
 * Specifically, you can make a URL of example.com/?show_popup=2. Then in your popup
   add a Time Delay trigger and a targeting rule of **Query Arg Is**, setting the
   query arg to show_popup and the value to 2.
