# Default Event Image

 * Wondering if there are still plans in incorporate a default event image that 
   will show if no event image is submitted?
 * Or, is there a work around to add this somehow?
 * It was stated 2 years that this would be added to V5 but I do not see it in the
   latest release:
 * “we’ll have a conditional placeholder for this in the next update of v5 beta (
   or RC), you could then add a ‘default’ image in your formats if there is no featured
   image.”

 * Sorry, this hasn’t made into the core code yet. There is a workaround using conditional
   placeholder tags:
 *     ```
       {has_image}#_EVENTIMAGE{/has_image}
       {no_image}Your default HTML image code here{/no_image}
       ```
