# Default Post Author

 * Is there a way–perhaps by plugin–to set the default author of a new post? I have
   a contributor that hardly ever posts that proceeds me in alpha order, so if I
   forget to change the author dropdown, my posts sometimes publish as the other
   author. I’d love to figure out a way to set the default. Thanks.
