# Default Post Category

 * Dear All,
 * Iam using a specific category say “XYZ” as ‘default post category’. The problem
   Iam facing is when I use the categories widget, it shows XYZ(5) meaning there
   are 5 posts with XYZ category where as there are no posts againts “XYZ” category.
   Is this count showing the trashed or delated posts ?
    What can be done so that
   correct count is reflected ? This problem is not with only with category that
   is set as ‘default post category’ under ‘Settings–> Writing’.
 * Any help will be highly appreciated.
