# Default View

 * I have the default view set to Month with an option for the visitor to change
   it to List. Ideally I would like to have it as Month on Desktop and List on mobiles.
   Is that possible please? If not, personally I think it would be a great feature
   to have this option.

 * The feature you’re looking for is already available in our plugin — you can set
   a different **default view for desktop and mobile**.
 * Just follow these steps:
    1. Go to **Events > Settings > Display**
    2. Look for the **Default View** (for desktop)
    3. Then set the **Default Mobile View** accordingly

   Default View**“.
 * Can you provide more detailed instructions, with maybe a screenshot please? Do
   I need to enable anything somewhere else in the settings to access this?

 * Apologies for the confusion — I didn’t realize that **The Events Calendar PRO**
   was enabled on my test site, which is why the **“Default Mobile View”** option
   appeared.
 * Unfortunately, this setting is **not available in the free version** of the plugin.
