# Default view shortcode not working

 * Hello,
 * I have the PRO version and I’m using the shortcode [tribe_events] to display 
   just the default option.
 * I have set up in Default View to “List” option; however, the site is listing 
   the Month option, so it is not getting the setting I have set up in the admin.

 * I’ve just found the solution by the shortcode [tribe_events view=”list”]. But
   I think it would not hurt to look what happens that is not getting the default
   view set up ?
