 * Hi, I have moved my domain from WordPress.com to an independent server and installed
   the WordPress software 3.8.1 which was successful.
 * I can login under wp-admin however when I get into the dashboard the url shows
   wordpress.com and I cannot see a plugins option which makes me think that it
   is still wordpress.com
 * Does anyone have solutions as to what I have done incorrectly?
 * Thanks!

 * If the move was recent .. your Domain may not have propagated yet.
 * When you change Domain Name DNS that information needs to be sent out to all
   of the servers around the world.
 * if it does not update within a few hours to one day then I would suspect you
   have a problem with your dns settings…
 * look up the tool
 * nslookup
 * and learn how to use it
