# Deferred CSS doesn’t load

 * When I select ” Inline “above the fold CSS” while loading the main autoptimized
   CSS only after page load” — only the inlined CSS loads and the deferred stylesheet
   doesn’t load at all.
 * Could this be an issue with my footer? or any other ideas?

 * Hard to say without _seeing_ the problem I’m afraid [@adamscot92](https://wordpress.org/support/users/adamscot92/).
   Do you see any error on the browser console?
 * edit; i see you’re also using pagespeed (?), that _could_ be messing things up
   somehow.
