# Delay in processing

 * It’s taking a long time at the moment for forms, once submitted, to process and
   output.
 * I have a 7 step form which can take between 1 to 2 minutes to process from the
   user clicking submit until their confirmation message appears say its being submitted.
 * During testing today I have also had the odd error message such as, _An error
   occurred while processing a PDF: Error generating PDF: cURL error 18: transfer
   closed with 518314 bytes remaining to read at pdf-ninja.php:494_ and _An error
   occurred while processing a PDF: Error generating PDF: Failed to open file for
   writing at pdf-ninja.php:894 _.
 * Just wondering if there are any issues which could cause such a delay. When received,
   the forms are fine so no problem there, just the processing time.

 * The problem may be related to low upload bandwidth on your server. I’ve seen 
   some very slow uploads in some hosting environments. Normally, it shouldn’t be
   an issue with one or two PDFs because they would be cached. However, if you have
   a lot of PDFs then the cache may not fit everything.
 * How many PDFs do you have attached to the CF7 form that is having the issue? 
   How big (file size) are the PDF files?
 * The first error message (with cURL) is probably related to the slow transfer 
   speed. The second error message (failed to open file for writing) is probably
   unrelated to speed. It seems to be something else entirely. It can be any number
   of things.
 * If you don’t mind sending me temporary wp-admin login details to admin at maximum
   dot software, I can try to debug your issues directly.
