In the accounting system, when you delete an invoice, it is removed from the system and this action is irreversible. Deleting the invoice results in a missing invoice from the sequence of invoices listed in your system. Hence this action is usually not recommended, especially in the double-entry accounting system.
So, we are not allowing to delete an invoice and that’s not gonna be considered. If an invoice is generated incorrectly, you can Void it instead of deleting. This would make the invoice invalid, but it will remain in your system and can be used for audit purposes.

Not in WP ERP only, Accounting has some of its own rules. Not editing a paid invoice is one of them. So, no, a paid invoice could not be edited.
If you made a mistake on the payment record, you can enter a journal to solve that.
