# Delete comments section

 * Hi,
    I would like to get rid of the comments section EVERYWHERE, I search a lot
   and pretty much all the results just told me to desactivate the option into the
   dashboard, but even uncheck, the comments sections are still there. In which 
   file and where within I should modify the code to do so? Thanks

 * After you go to Settings>Discussion and deactivate comments you still need to
   deactivate them manually on all existing pages. From the edit page screen click“
   Screen Options” at the top and check “Discussion”. Below your text editor, uncheck
   the box labeled “Allow Comments”. Update(save) your page.
