 * Can I safely delete the tables related to the plug-in after completing the import
   to the site? The plugin is uninstalled and no longer in use.
 * **Tables in question**: wp0or7_pmxi_files, wp0or7_pmxi_hash, wp0or7_pmxi_history,
   wp0or7_pmxi_images, wp0or7_pmxi_imports, wp0or7_pmxi_posts, wp0or7_pmxi_templates.

 * Yes, if you don’t plan to use the imports anymore then it is safe to delete them.
   I would still suggest making a back-up before you do, though.
