Hello @jfwillems – I checked the sites, and for two of the above mentioned sites (first and third), the Jetpack connection was not good but still connected. They’ve now been fully disconnected from Jetpack, so they should no longer appear in your WordPress.com dashboard. Could you please check your dashboard and let us know if everything looks good? In the future, you can also disconnect sites from Jetpack from your side following the steps here, which removes the site from appearing in WordPress.com dashboard.
However, I wasn’t able to locate the second site on our end. Is the second site appearing on the WordPress app only?
For the WordPress app, if the site was manually added there, you’ll need to remove it from the app manually as well. You can follow the steps mentioned here.
Hello,
first of all thank you for disconnecting the sites and sorry for this late reply.
I did try the steps you suggested but this didn’t work either.
I see now three websites in my wordpress account and they are all three OK as far as I know.
The website doesn’t show in the wordpress app or
But the problem persists.
I have deleted the Jetpack pluging through the WP-admin.
I have checked the folder /public_html/wp-content/plugins/ but there is no Jetpack folder left.
I found one databaste table that I have removed manually: ***jetpack_sync_queue
But the problem persists: 401: Jetpack: [unknown_token] It looks like …. etc.
I can add the website manually in the jetpack app and the wordpress app (iOS) but nothing more. No real connection can be established. The jetpack app says it can’t install the app, something that does work through the WP admin page.
Please advise.
Greetings,
Jan
Hi there,
It appears you are still experiencing issues with one of your site connections to Jetpack. I understand how that can be frustrating, especially if you want to keep your account sites organize and connected.
To help with this, could you please post the URL of your site where the issue occurs here so we can take a look? If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.
For the 401 error, please ensure that no security plugins or firewall rules are blocking Jetpack or access to the XML-RPC file. You might need to add Jetpack’s IP ranges to your allowlist. If you don’t know how to do that, please reach out to your hosting provider.
Additionally, could you temporarily disable other plugins to identify any conflicts? Here is a step-by-step guide: https://jetpack.com/support/troubleshooting-plugin-and-theme-conflicts/
I hope this helps. Please keep us posted on how things progress.
Thank you!
