 * Hello,
 * We have a multi-site network with 11 sub-sites who are all ecommerce sub-stores
   powered by WooCommerce.
 * We used WP All Import to import our products, though we did a mistake by trying
   to import more than 800,000 products to one single sub-store and after making
   too much optimization, this got our database corrupted and we needed to separate
   this one single sub-site into 6 sub-sites to accommodate that much products.
 * Now, we deleted the sub-site that had a corrupted database but the database tables
   are still present in our database.
 * So, our question is, the database table number for this sub-site is number 13,
   can we safely (after making a backup of course) delete the database tables related
   to the number 13 without affecting other sub-sites and the multi-site environment?

 * Hello [@kioubizin](https://wordpress.org/support/users/kioubizin/)
 * I would be glad to assist you. I just tested this out. Once you have made a backup
   of the database, the easiest way to do this is to go under your Network Admin
   Sites section and hover over the site you want to remove and select “Delete”.
   This will remove the site tables from your database.

 * [@kioubizin](https://wordpress.org/support/users/kioubizin/) I missed read your
   original post and see that you have already deleted the site. If the tables did
   not delete then you would need to manually delete them using something like phpMyAdmin.
   I would only question if in fact the tables did not get deleted when you deleted
   the site and that the tables with 13 in the tables names in the correct tables
   for the site you deleted.

 * No, as you will see from this screenshot [https://tinyurl.com/ylushwlc](https://tinyurl.com/ylushwlc)
 * Even though I deleted the sub-site, the database tables are still there and that’s
   why I submitted this ticket because for the sake of performance, when we delete
   a sub-site, the database entries and tables should be deleted as well to leave
   place for other sub-sites, plugins etc.
 * Otherwise, if we delete 2-3 sub-sites but don’t care about the database, at some
   point, we end up having 2-3 database tables left over.

 * Did manually dropping the tables for the site you deleted resolve your issue?

 * I haven’t tried to delete it manually yet, although I can, that’s why I am asking
   the question if it might affect anything within the multi-site structure before
   I delete it, I just don’t want to take any risk prior to get a confirmation about
   it!

 * I personally see no reason why it would effect anything as long as you delete
   just the tables that are associated with the site you deleted. As long as you
   have a backup of the database you can always restore it in the event something
   breaks after deleting the tables.
