# delete subfolder

 * I am pretty new to all this… that being said, I had created a subfolder with 
   a new wordpress installed. [http://www.espirit.info/sandbox](http://www.espirit.info/sandbox)
   
   I was trying to create a “sandbox” there but I no longer need that subfolder.
 * I would like to delete this subfolder “sandbox” and/or the wordpress application.
   How do I go about doing that?

 * If you want to delete the whole thing, you will need to FTP into your server,
   find that folder and delete it. Then delete the database that you’ve been using
   through your hosting control panel. That will remove everything from your site.
 * Just be aware that if there’s something on the site that you might want in the
   future, you might want to keep a backup of everything stored somewhere so that
   you can go back to it if you ever need to.
