 * If I delete a post, does it physically get removed from database? Or its contents
   still stays there?
    There is no recovering of the post after deleting correct?

 * Howdy [@ketanco](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ketanco/) ! WordPress has
   a Trash. If you delete a post if goes to Trash and it can be restored, if then
   you go into the Trash and click `Delete Permanently` it is removed from the database
   forever.
 * If a post is removed from the database, some of it may be recoverable in other
   ways:
 * – from a backup if you had it enabled
    – from wayback machine if the website
   was online for a while
