 * Hi there
 * hope you can help?
 * How do you get WP up and running again if you’re an idiot like me and deleted
   your SQL data base?
 * I have created a new db and updated the config file but still not working
 * Cheers
 * Lenny

 * If you are asking–I deleted my MySQL database that held my posts/pages/comments/
   users/etc. then if you don’t have a database backup, talk to your host–maybe
   they have a backup of your database.
 * If you are just wanting to get WordPress running then review [Installing WordPress](http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress).

 * Thanks
 * Basically I tried to maunually install WP 3.0 and screwed it up yesterday.
 * Thought I’ll just start again, that didn’t work
 * Someone suggested deleting SQL DB and creating a new one which I have done and
   updated the config file with the new DB info
 * I was getting a 404 error when trying to access my webpage admin but now get:
 * **This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.
   php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at db2567.oneandone.
   co.uk. This could mean your host’s database server is down.**
 * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    Are you sure that you
   have typed the correct hostname? Are you sure that the database server is running?
 * So I was thinking it does recognise my new sql db info?
 * Is getting the old DB info the only way or can I get WP set with the new db info?
 * Thanks
 * Lenny

 * No. You just need to make sure the info in your wp-config.php is correct. If
   you don’t know the correct values for DB_HOST, DB_NAME, DB_USER, and DB_PASSWORD,
   call 1and1 support for help.
