Deprecated function

When I try to activate the plug-in on a development area we own, this is what I get:

Notice: get_screen_icon is deprecated since version 3.8.0 with no alternative available. in /home/XXX/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3842

This isn’t that bad, but it is preventing me from opening the form to log-in, which stops me from using the plugin properly.
