    Hi zimbo000,

    The long description is limited in the settings when you are using the Featured levels module. We don’t currently have limits setup for the short description field.

    We have a complete customization guide with a full map of what all the files are in BD and what they control, if you want to make custom changes. I would recommend starting with this first to understand the code. http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/docs/customization-guide/
