 * I am trying to figure out how to take out the large orange and purple gradient
   box that overlaps half of the header video media (so that the header is just 
   my website’s logo and the full screen video.
 * Been getting so frustrated trying to change such simple features! Would appreciate
   any help – thank you so much.

    You 
   have to add custom CSS for that. Please Go to Appearance > Customize > Additional
   Css and add following CSS
 *     ```
       .fearured-section .info-wrap {
           background: none;
       }
       ```
