 * Hello [@mcp2019](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mcp2019/) ,
 * Thank you for writing to us.
 * The error message you mentioned, “WordPress HTTP error: status code 404, net::
   ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE,” indicates that there is an issue with the HTTP
   response code when accessing a resource on your WordPress website. The error
   code 404 signifies that the requested resource could not be found on the server.
 * Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:
    1. Clear your browser cache: Sometimes, the browser cache can cause conflicts and
       display outdated information. Clearing the cache can help resolve the issue.
       You can usually do this through the browser settings.
    2. Check the URL: Verify that the URL you are trying to access is correct. Make
       sure there are no typos or missing characters. Also, ensure that the requested
       resource actually exists on the server.
    3. Permalink settings: If you recently made changes to the permalink structure
       in WordPress, it could lead to 404 errors. Ensure that your permalink settings
       are correctly configured. You can check and update the settings by going to “
       Settings” -> “Permalinks” in your WordPress admin dashboard.
    4. Check for conflicting plugins or themes: Disable any recently installed plugins
       or themes to see if they are causing the issue. Sometimes, conflicts between
       different plugins or themes can lead to 404 errors. If disabling the plugins
       or themes resolves the problem, try enabling them one by one to identify the
       specific culprit.
    5. Update WordPress and plugins: Ensure that your WordPress installation and all
       installed plugins are up to date. Outdated versions can sometimes cause compatibility
       issues that result in HTTP errors.
    6. Check file and folder permissions: Make sure the file and folder permissions
       on your server are correctly set. Improper permissions can sometimes cause access
       issues and result in 404 errors. Generally, folders should have a permission
       of 755, and files should be set to 644.
    7. Check your server configuration: If none of the above steps resolve the issue,
       there might be an issue with your server configuration. Contact your hosting
       provider or server administrator to check if there are any server-side settings
       or restrictions causing the problem.
 * I hope it will help you to resolved the issue.
 * Regards
