# Difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org?

 * I recently paid $200 for the Business Bundle at WordPress.com to have access 
   to all of their themes, which totals to 206 according to [their site](http://theme.wordpress.com/),
   or 577 when I go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Themes. The discrepancy aside,
   I’m here because I just found out that WordPress.org offers over 1,600 themes,
   and it looks like they’re all free. All I have to do is simply click on a theme
   I like and download it.
 * Is it possible for me to get a refund on my Business Bundle and just choose from
   WordPress.org’s themes? I got the bundle because WordPress.com was charging ~
   $50 per theme, but apparently they’re all free on WordPress.org. Furthermore,
   the two sites have many themes in common. Why isn’t there more clarity about 
   the differences between the two sites? Am I missing something?

 * And do note that with .ORG sites, you’ll typically need to to pay for hosting
   and a domain name.
 * Questions about .COM sites or policies should be asked on their forums, but this
   page does say there is a 30-day refund period on some upgrades:
