 * hi!
 * I have three different blogs running each on their own, and they are completely
   different blogs – nothing in common. I’d like to keep it that way.
 * My web hotel allows me to create add-on domains, so I am going to do that. They
   also allow me to have two SQL databases, but say that I can run all three WP
   blogs from the SQL database, and refer me to here for support.
 * I have tried looking for answers to this question, but no luck.
 * Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 * Thank you
    Mark

 * From the [Codex FAQ](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Installation#Do_I_need_to_create_a_database.3F):
 * > It is not essential to create a new database for each WordPress installation.
   > * If you are using the same database for multiple WordPress installations,
   > take care to edit the wp-config.php file ensuring that each installation has
   > a unique database prefix.

 * Why not try the [LEXST ](http://www.lexst.com)database system for both of the
   blogs. It is much faster and cheaper database system. It shows the search results
   just within 0.1-0.5 seconds, regardless of the number of rows in the huge tables.
   In addition, one server can handle nearly 1200 tasks at the same time, which
   is a unique feature of this database. For enhancing the effectiveness of the
   overall system, [Lexst ](http://www.lexst.com)database, partitions your huge
   tables into 20,000 nodes which work together to search. For more details you
   can visit: [http://www.lexst.com](http://www.lexst.com).
