# Different post fields

 * Hi all
 * I’m currently comparing drupal and wordpress for an upcoming project. Both have
   some major pros & cons and both the client and myself want to choose wordpress.
   However, there is one big issue. We need different post formats. Drupal has this
   and call it “content types” (See here: [http://drupal.org/node/21947](http://drupal.org/node/21947)).
   We need something very similar because we need to post not only common blogposts(
   with a title and bodytext) but also a lot of types of content. In short, I would
   need a way to specify different types of posts and depending on the type the 
   user will be asked to fill in different fields, other that title and body.
 * Am I making any sense here? 🙂 Is this possible to do with wordpress, is it easy?
