 * Hi,
    I am really enthusiastic about the features of this PlugIn!
 * Maybe I’m too stupid, but when I insert a section block from Ultimate Gutenberg
   Blocks into a slider, for example, I can only access the properties of the section
   block via the list selection (three dashes at the top), clicking on the section
   element itself no longer works, only elements inserted into the section block
   can be accessed and edited, for example a paragraph.
    This phenomenon also occurs
   with standard WordPress blocks, such as the column block.
 * Is this only a problem for me? Possibly caused by another plug-in?
    If not: can
   it be optimised somehow, because it makes the handling of these content blocks
   quite difficult, especially if an uninitiated customer wants to do it, it is
   not intuitive.
 * Regards
    Martin

 * [@fishmi](https://wordpress.org/support/users/fishmi/) thanks for the nice words.
   The block navigation is not perfect we know. We try to stick to the official
   Gutenberg components and functionality as close ad possible for the best overall
   ux and upgradability, which means: as Gutenberg will advance Gutenslider will
   too.
 * That said, there is also a function to select the next parent block in the block
   hierarchy. Just hover/click the block icon of your selected block. The block
   outline you mentioned is the second way.
 * We are confident the community of Gutenberg devs will soon come up with improved
   ways of block navigation.
 * p.s. if you like the plugin we really appreciate your review on WordPress [https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/gutenslider/reviews/](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/gutenslider/reviews/)

 * Thank you for the quick reply and the advice.
 * In my experience, referring to the community does not solve the problem. I already
   know that a better list view is coming with 5.8, but this list view is not a
   good intuitive alternative for editors. Often this list view and also the selection
   of the parent block via the child block is not seen or understood. This is something
   for programmers, but not for editors who need it to be as simple as possible.
 * Intuitively, most users first clicks into the block, especially if they are used
   to it from the other blocks. If nothing happens, the user is at a loss.
    And
   strictly speaking, this is of course a bug of the plug-in; no other plug-in I
   know of that allows additional WordPress blocks inside has this problem.
 * Maybe you could take a look at it again, maybe there is a simple solution. That
   would be great.
 * My – positive – evaluation will come in the next few days

 * [@fishmi](https://wordpress.org/support/users/fishmi/) we agree and will check
   in more detail and hopefully release an update end of July.

 * Thank you very much,
 * The feature set of the plug-in is really impressive and I would like to “abuse”
   it for other purposes, such as Hero Teaser (basically just one slide).
    But then,
   at the latest, the operation must be simple.
 * I’m a bit put off by the price for a Pro licence, $70 for a 3-Site licence (which
   I need for the local test environments) per year is quite a lot for a single-
   function plug-in. Some plug-ins (for example Borlabs Cookies) offer the possibility
   to use their plug-in locally without a licence. Just an idea 🙂
 * I’ll have to talk to my customer and find out if I’m allowed to buy it.

 * [@fishmi](https://wordpress.org/support/users/fishmi/) you will only need one
   license. Ready which domain names are considered testing or staging here: [https://freemius.com/help/documentation/selling-with-freemius/license-utilization/](https://freemius.com/help/documentation/selling-with-freemius/license-utilization/)
