# Directory Exclude Structure

 * Hello,
 * Should a directory exclude, such as `wordpress.org/contact/` for example, be 
   excluded with a preceding forward slash or no forward slash?
 * The “Exclude” display seems to include it’s own trailing forward slash as part
   of the root URL so it’s unclear.

 * Will it be an issue if I have a starting slash?
 * I can’t tell if the starting slash is required or optional, but the label ends
   with a starting slash, so if I add a starting slash it looks like it would be
   a double slash.
