# Directory slow loading

 * We are having trouble with our directory. It loads very slow, is there anything
   we can do to speed it up?

 * Have you tried using the custom metatable?
 * Please go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > Settings > Misc > Check the option “
   Enable custom table for user meta”. It should let you migrate the data and your
   member directory will now use the custom meta table to improve the performance.
