 * Hello [@keyascii](https://wordpress.org/support/users/keyascii/)
 * Thank you for contacting us.
    We have a filter that you can use to change attributes
   like the description attribute.
 * With that filter, you can create a PHP script that filters the HTML or smart
   tags inserted in the description attribute by visual composer and other visual
   editors.
 * Check out the following little snippet you could use to filter Visual composer
   tags: [https://gist.github.com/Auke1810/294ac95503b6fba5114d32c846774635](https://gist.github.com/Auke1810/294ac95503b6fba5114d32c846774635)
 * Or: [https://gist.github.com/Auke1810/928c039bbe25480c77bcc335362251c3](https://gist.github.com/Auke1810/928c039bbe25480c77bcc335362251c3)
   where also divi code short tags, etc is filtered.
 * If you’re not familiar with using filters in your wp-admin, the best and easiest
   way to do this is by using a plugin like “Code Snippets” ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/)).
   And here you can find a great video explaining the use if this plugin [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1_ZqnQmwJs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1_ZqnQmwJs).

   After activating the Code Snippets plugin you can use the code I previously mentioned
   to add the functionality.
 * Let me know if that helped?!

 * Hi Michel,
    sorry if I did not reply to you. I solved the problem “cleaning”
   the text manually. Thank you very much anyway.
