# Disable annotations for specific post types

 * Hi there,
 * is it possible to disable annotations for specific post types? I have some plugins,
   that use a “hidden” post type for logging and everytime a log entry is created,
   a piwik annotation is added. Is it possible to avoid that?

 * No, that’s not possible until now.
 * But if I dig into [this](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/metabox-for-custom-post-type),
   I will also have a look at your request. In both cases I have to handle several
   post types.
