# Disable preloading

 * For some reason I am noticing attempts to preload drafts and possibly other pages
   while logged as admin. See example:
 * /?page_id=87548&wpacu_preload=1
 * I am assuming it is bug as it is logged as 404 in the logs. I am using php 8 
   if relevant. If there is another way to disable preloading that would be great.

   a post and use the Classic Editor plugin, the preview will trigger. I haven’t
   noticed it on Gutenberg if the post is saved without page reload. And yes, it’s
   a bug. It shouldn’t happen for drafts and it makes useless extra calls. After
   all, it’s a performance plugin and it should not do this kind of thing. The Pro
   version is having the same problem.
 * I’ll have this fixed as soon as possible and update you here. Also, note that
   this is a harmless thing and it shouldn’t affect the user experience in any way.
   It’s just an extra useless call that was somehow left behind.

 * Thank you for the fast response. Well I am using the pro version and the regular
   version on a different site. Can I use the development version to replace the
   pro version?

 * I have the receipt somewhere in my emails, I will find it. I will login to the
   member area (cant right now) soon and re-download the pro version.
