 * I was updating plugins on a WP website that I had just recently became the admin.
   In the process, one of the plugins is now blocking my access to the dashboard.
   Using phpMyAdmin can I disable this plugin without going to the present host
   server? I currently don’t have the login info for this hosting company. Any ideas
   or recommendations?

 * Just delete/rename that plugin’s folder via FTP.

 * Tara, I’m not familiar with FTP. I’ve been reading tutorials but still don’t
   understand. Can I access the plugin’s folder without logging into the dashboard?

 * Your hosting providers should be able to help you with FTP.

 * HI,
 * Yes you can, but FTP is basically accessing the filesystem. For that you will
   require the hosting access.
 * Thanks

 * Without access to your hosted account you can not use the file manager they provide
   nor log in to your database.
 * Why don’t you have log in information?

 * My client hasn’t provided it to me yet. I should get it tomorrow. I was hoping
   to fix this issue without that information.
    Thanks everyone for your help…
