# Disabling Feedburner e-mails

 * We recently switched from feedburner to mailchimp. I did this by setting up an
   RSS campaign in mailchimp using our standard RSS feed that looks like website.
   com/feed/
    I deactivated our feedburner and noticed it was still sending out 
   e-mails so I deleted it. Our subscribers both our old feedburner subscribers 
   and our new mailchimp subscribers are still receiving our feedburner e-mails.
   This is a really big problem. I have no idea how to resolve it. We don’t want
   our posts to go out via feedburner at all. Can somebody help me?

 * You’ll need to disable this through Feedburner. They’re getting your posts from
   your site’s public RSS feed, WordPress isn’t directly sending your posts to them.

 * Thanks, James. There’s a really good chance that if I can’t resolve this through
   feedburner that I will need to completely disconnect my RSS feed from my wordpress
   site and create a new one. I’ll try to resolve it through feedburner first. I’m
   not optimistic they’ll get back to me.

 * You’ll have to resolve it through Feedburner, as there really is no way to change
   WordPress’s built-in RSS feed in that way.

 * Do you know if there is a way to modify/rename the URL for my public feed so 
   that feedburner is unable to send further posts from it? I would then set up 
   a new mailchimp RSS campaign with the renamed feed. I’m trying to find a workaround
   because feedburner has nearly non-existent support. And I suspect because I deleted
   the feedburner account, there won’t be a way to regain access to alter any settings.
   It’s an unfortunate conundrum.
