# Disabling guest comments

 * I’d like my sites to only allow logged in users to comment. In my Discussion 
   Settings, I have “Users must be registered and logged in to comment” checked,
   but people can still comment without logging in. I think there’s a setting in
   WP-Discuz that is overwriting this, but I can’t find that setting in WP-Discuz.

 * You should use the “Allow guests to comment” option. This option allows controlling
   guest commenting on your website. If this option is set “No”, only “Please login
   to comment” message will be displayed on the comment form. Guests will not be
   able to comment, unless they decide to register, login and comment as an authorized
   user.
