# Disabling the "ticker" functionality

 * I just read through the other thread explaining what’s going on with the plugin
   only pulling one review for new API users… It’s not a huge deal for me if it’s
   only showing one, but it looks really silly to have the same review constantly
   fading or scrolling in and out of view. Is there any way to at least temporarily
   disable the transition effects?
 * I tried having just 1 selected in the widget for how many to display, and that
   still has the review refreshing with visual effects every few seconds. So I guess…
   not to nitpick, but is there any way to disable transition effects when you’re
   only choosing to show one review? That might be cleaner anyway, by default, when
   it’s not pulling multiple reviews.

 * Sorry for the delay, I actually didn’t see your question.
 * You could have set the delay to 9999999999 and it would “stop it”
 * I’ve updated the plugin today, and converted the API to v1, please update the
   plugin and make sure you change the settings, since new settings were added and
   some were done away completely.
 * Thanks for the compliments and please let me know how if you find any bugs in
   the plugin.

   it!

 * You could have changed the delay to say… 9999999999
 * and that would have “stopped it”

 * The Yelp reviews are showing up for me, but oftentimes the same reviews are duplicated.
   Is there any way to prevent this from happening? More importantly there are big
   blank areas _sometimes_ inserted in between.
