# Disappeared wordpress admin sidebar

 * Hi all,
    I am developing a local wordpress website. I have installed wordpress
   in Xampp on Windows 10. Today I was adding a new page that suddenly got an error
   and then the site stopped working and admin left sidebar has disappeared. I can
   see only the Dashboard, Profile and collapse menu links. The front end site works
   pretty well but I can’t get access to pages and posts and back end doesn’t work
   at all. I did a new installation with the old db but it didn’t change the result.
   I tried to rename the Plugin and theme directories but I wasn’t successful. I
   tried to reinstall but I recieve “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page”.
   Would someone help me? I’ve been working on this site for a few weeks and I don’t
   want to miss many hours of work.

 * Please check the error logs on your server for a more specific error message 
   and see why it’s failing. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider
   to help you with that.
