Hey @frenchomatic,
0.9.97.10’s tickets were already decided and planned earlier, so that’s why #2445 was not pushed in this update.
We have #2445 in the next update schedule, and this will be pushed in the next update cycle.
You must have noticed we have changed our update strategy, rather than pushing the code weekly, we are fixing the issues and testing it thoroughly. It is better to keep the ticket open and push the code a week or two later rather than break sites.
I’m sure in the next update we are going to push the #2445 ticket and a few more which is scheduled for next week.
Do let me know what do you think about this?
MK
OK – yes I see that now – I will wait until 0.9.98. In the meantime I will do some more testing on the beta. My post tile was perhaps too emotive.

Never install an update of WP AMP as soon as they release it. They always release new versions without much testing and break everyones site.
Last time this happened was a few weeks ago, my AMP pages stopped working for 2 days before I realized it, and then it was too late, I had lost over $500 in revenue because of them.
It is about time someone else release a better AMP plugin so that I can kiss it goodbye.
