 * Hello support, the Changelog says at 1.9.3.8 “Discontinued for WP Popups”.
    Does
   this mean that this free version is End of life and will not be updated anymore??

 * Yes, it will not be updated.
    You can import the old popups to the new WPPopopus(
   this has an import tool).
