# Disk Cache Static Page – How?

 * Disk Cache Static Page – How?
 * W3TC plugin allows me to make all my dynamic pages STATIC – it caches database
   post information and I get cached html
 * Cause my site isn’t updated (only old posts) I want to make it fully static –
   it’s possible with W3TC
 * But how to do it with your plugin? I don’t get. I don’t need browser cache – 
   I want fully static site – so after page became static it doesn’t use database
   anymore

 * WPSC works on “similar way”. I think that you should set “expiration” to 0 (it
   should disable garbage collection). Also, there an option “direct pages”, but
   I didn’t try it in the latest version and I can’t confirm is it working as should.
   I think that’s solution which you want. If you find issues related to “direct
   page”, then we could try to fix them.
 * I’d recommend “preload option” which should refresh posts periodically. You should
   update WP/plugins for security reason and it’s possible that some updates flush
   entire cache (and it’s possible that JS/CSS are changed and it could break old
   content).
