 * Hello everybody,
 * I have issues with our company website [http://www.siz.it](http://www.siz.it)

   We are a printing company with a wide portfolio of books/editions. We have over
   930 mb in wp-content folder and a maximum hosting of 1000 mb. Every time I have
   storage issues as I finish free disk space. I want to understand: – Is 1000 mb
   too few? – I see that for every image there are several resized images: I understand
   this is meant to make the website faster, not needing to resize the images when
   somebody visits the website, is this needed? do I’d need to disable this option?
   How can I disable it?
 * Please let me know!!

 * If you need more, you need more. There’s no generic rule. You need what you need.
   Contact your host to find out how to add more storage.
 * There are plugins that will removed images no longer associated with posts, but
   use them carefully and only after a full and tested backup. See [https://wpengine.com/resources/wordpress-media-library-clean-up/](https://wpengine.com/resources/wordpress-media-library-clean-up/)
   for more information.

 * Dear Steve,
    thanks for your reply. This thing of doing multiple versions of
   the photo with various sizes is a common/standard wordpress procedure or do I
   have a plugin that does this thing? Please let me know!!! thanks

 * WP creates 4 sizes by itself. PLugins and themes may declare additional sizes.
