Thanks Laura for reaching out.
Yes, that’s where the Facebook share button should appear… your theme seems to block it. Or maybe you have any other Social media plugins installed? Sometimes those could also cause the conflict.
Hi! Thanks for your answer.
Nope, no other social media plugins installed..
Any idea if there’s anything I can do..?
Thanks!
Laura
Do you have the possibility to change your theme, at least temporarily, to see if it’s because of the theme?
Hi socialdude!
I made the test and the buttons show up fine on another theme. So.. it must be the theme. What now?
Ok, thanks for the update Laura. I see the following options:
1.) You just stick with the new theme.
2.) You can try to place the icons in a different way, e.g. via shortcode. Then it may work (although I doubt it).
3.) You can ask your theme creator to check why the theme is behaving this way. We developed our plugin to minimize conflicts with themes, but some themes still have issues we cannot resolve from the plugin side.
4.) We also solve theme-issues as part of this plugin: https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/usm-premium/. It has many other fancy features too, includes support, and if we don’t manage to fix it you’ll get a full refund.
