• I think this is simple, but so am I. My website(politograph.com is opening to an archive page added by wp so or elementor. I did not designate it as Home or LP. Is this in the parent-child designation or in a setting somewhere else.

In the mobile display, the transcript is displayed in red and links are displayed in black. this is backward. Any help will be greatly appreciated. D Medlock.

Just in case, I’m looking for a paid tutor to help expedite my learning cure. If you or someone you know offers live consuling I would appreciate a contact email or phone. Thanks again.

@penpoint10 — I’ve moved your post into its own new topic. In the future, please do not tag onto other’s topics no matter how similar it may seem. It’s considered to be a form of thread hijacking and is often seen by others in these forums as being inconsiderate, even though it’s common practice in other forums.

The default front page of a new WP installation is to list posts, newest first, using the current theme’s index.php template. If you wish a specific page to be your front page, use the Reading Settings to specify a static front page. You need to also designate another page to act as the blog archive, so create a new page to serve this purpose.

Looking at your site, all text is currently black. Links turn red on hover. These colors appear to be assigned through Elementor. For specifics on using Elementor I recommend asking in their dedicated support forum, where its expert users and devs are in the best position to help you.

It’s me again 🙂 I forgot to mention one important thing while I was distracted by answering your questions.

Please do not solicit paid assistance of any kind in these forums. This is a very public forum. There are bad people out there looking to scam and deceive people. While unlikely, such bad people could offer to help you. Because of this, our forum guidelines prohibit paid solicitations. I strongly recommend you ignore any contacts resulting from your request here for a paid tutor.

We do have a couple sites where you can hire paid experts to help you with your WP site, https://jobs.wordpress.net/ or https://jetpack.pro/. I’m not sure their terms allow tutoring requests. Please check their terms of service before posting.
