# Display Post Question

 * Why is it so hard to display a simple post with content and read more link, i’ve
   scoured the WP forum and found many people wondering the same thing, i have not
   found a solution as of yet but many hacky hacks, there must be a simple method
   no ?

 * sorry i wasn’t refering to the regular posts via the admin, i was refering to
   adding a single post (content) with read more link anywhere on the page in the
   footer in the sidebar any place
    – – found out why the more link wasn’t showing,
   i didn’t have a post page designated only a static page for the main page

   guess I’m not following what the issue is?
